Update on “GUNNER”

A 2017 Finished North Idaho Antler Dog Trainee

Hi Diane.

I hope all is well with you and your family. I just wanted to give you a quick update on gunner and also say THANK YOU! he has turned into an incredibly good dog. He is so well behaved and good natured. He travels awesomely in a vehicle. He is just a good all around polite well mannered companion. I get compliments everywhere I go about what a good dog he is.

Gunner is at his ideal weight and my vet even compliments me on what a great well mannered dog he is. He is very happy and has adjusted well. He still loves the antler although we have incorporated tennis balls into his routine also. He’s learning to allow me to fish without “helping”. He is maturing very nicely as he approaches his 2 year birthday this November. He has really become everything I wanted. He has become my best friend and is a wonderful dog. I can’t thank you enough.

Not sure I told you this spring but gunner actually found the right shed of a deer I’ve been watching for 4 years and had hoped to harvest this past season with my bow, we thought this deer had died from the major outbreak of blue tongue we had. We found a deer very similar that had died and assumed it was that deer. Gunner proved us wrong!!

I couldn’t have asked for a better dog. Good breeding and good training for which I thank you.
